Terms of use

Effective October 15, 2026

These terms cover your use of the Hatch VPN app and service ("Hatch"), provided by Obscura Labs LLC ("we", "us"). Your licence to use the app itself is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. By using Hatch you agree to both.

Fair use

Hatch has no data caps. To keep it fast for everyone, we may slow down or pause a device whose usage is far beyond normal personal use, or that harms the service for others.

What you may not do

You may not use Hatch to:

If you do, we may suspend or end your access without a refund.

The service

We work to keep Hatch available and fast, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, available in every country or network, or able to get around every restriction. Server locations may change. You are responsible for following the laws that apply where you use Hatch.

Disclaimer and liability

Hatch is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Hatch in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

Apple

These terms are between you and Obscura Labs LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Hatch or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app about significant changes. If you keep using Hatch after a change, the new terms apply.
